Return policy

If upon receiving the merchandise you notice that the packaging is damaged, it is possible that the material has suffered damage during transport. Therefore, it is recommended to take photographs and have the client sign the receipt indicating ‘PENDING VERIFICATION OF MATERIAL’. This way, LEC will be able to report the incident to the carrier.

The return of the material must always be done in its original packaging to ensure its protection during transport, given its fragility.

a) Return of trial orders

  • Required document: Completed return delivery note from the website.
  • A trial period of 30 days is established from the date of shipment (LEC’s delivery note date).
  • The offered prices will be honored during the trial period.
  • Return shipping: handled by the intermediary managing the trial order.
  • LEC will issue the full invoice, which will be partially settled depending on the return condition of the product, according to the following terms:

Material return conditions

The material must be returned in perfect condition and in its original packaging:

  • If the material is returned in packaging different from the original: a refund of 95% of the value of the material will be issued.
  • If the material is returned damaged, scratched, dented, etc.: a maximum refund of 90% of its value will be issued, to be assessed by LEC based on the damage incurred.
  • If the material is returned in packaging different from the original and is damaged: a maximum refund of 85% of its value will be issued, to be assessed by LEC based on the damage incurred.
  • In no case will the reimbursement of transportation costs be applicable, which will be invoiced according to the payment conditions established by both parties.
  • Upon receipt of the merchandise at our facilities, photographs of its condition will be taken for the subsequent application of the corresponding refund percentage, which will be communicated to the customer through the sales department.

b) Return of a product that fails within its warranty period

  • LEC is not responsible for the replacement of the damaged item in advance.
  • Required document: Completed return delivery note from the website.
  • Return and resend transportation: please refer to the general warranty conditions published on the website.
  • Repair time: to be assessed based on the product.

c) Return of a product sent incorrectly or damaged during transportation

  • LEC will consider the possibility of replacing the damaged item in advance.
  • Required document: Completed return delivery note from the website.
  • Return and resend transportation: handled by LEC at no additional cost to the customer.
  • Repair time: to be assessed based on the product.

d) Return of a product that does not meet the warranty conditions

  • When the customer does not accept the conditions for the return of the material (such as refusal to cover product evaluation costs, shipping costs, repair expenses, etc.), LEC will retain the material in its facilities for a maximum period of 3 months. After this period, LEC will proceed with the destruction of the material, following its environmental policy.
